Local integrated
Prairie Labs favors systems that can run close to the user, on hardware they control. Local execution can reduce unnecessary data movement and keep creative work, model inputs, and system files on user-controlled machines whenever practical.
Artist respect
Prairie Labs media is generated by artificial intelligence without training custom image, video, or audio models on the work of artists. Our creative systems use language models to orchestrate code, math, and Linux design programs.
Open source
Prairie Labs publishes and points to open systems wherever possible, including tools that can be inspected, downloaded, modified, and run locally. Public release keeps the work legible and lets people evaluate the process instead of only seeing outputs.
* Writers are artists. The model is trained on text. We use artist as referenced colloquially in the artificial intelligence space.
